On this day in 2021, the division in England published a tweet that said, “Women belong in the kitchen” and there were another two following this tweet. Those tweets highlighted that it was their wish and it totally looks like they were trying to cover up. The tweet is a very rational meaning which conveys a message that so many people would not like. They also covered up by saying that they had a scholarship program on the study of culinary arts and that women could participate. This would reduce the gender gap in the food sector.
The first tweet captured a lot of eyes because the tweet went too far being a sexist statement. And it had a lot of negative impact with backlash.
